Why would you want anything else other than a car wheel/tyre on a trike.
What would be the point of using a bike wheel/tyre which would have a
rounded section thus eventually developing a flat area and supplying less
area for grip and traction while it did so.

It's a trike in the UK and can be ridden with either a car or a bike
license.
