Stopped by Nicholson Power Sports in Ann Arbor, MI. Wanted to see an actual
Wee-Strom and sit on it. Unfortunately, they had sold both of theirs, but
they had a Kawasaki Versys in the back room that they let me sit on (with
hopes of selling it to me, naturally). Told the sales guy that I'd go home
and look up exactly what a Versys is and so on.
In the process of looking, I found this video.
You've gotta listen carefully, but they slam the V-Strom for ineffective
front brakes and for having not quite as much power as the other two.
Any opinions, especially about the front brakes?

I'v e got a wee strom, and haven't noticed any front brake issues.
I'd be curious to see what other owners have to say.

I looked at the Youtube video and his comment that "the back brake slows the
bike down better than the front" just plain ain't so. If his was like that
he'd gotten oil on the front pads or something.

I think he was talking about the Versys there.

Here's one showing a Wee doing a 'stoppie'. I've not attempted one of
these, or even tested the ABS to it's limits, but brakes appear to be more than
adequate.
All out power may be slightly less than the other two, but the engine is
very smooth and pulls well from any gear. Again, more than adequate (unless you
and passenger are real heavyweights...:-)
