Probably a pretty good marriage. Both are brands targeting an
affluent buyers, most of whom are at least as interested in
identifying with a brand image as they are actually riding. Both make
some of the most visually appealing bikes on the market.
With a dealer network like Harley's, I'll bet they can make a whole
lot of MV sales here in the US than would otherwise be possible.
And best of all, Harley gets a whole staff of Italian engineers and
designers...woohoo!

It could be as happy a merger as Daimler-Chrysler.
Who knows; Harley-Davidson could end up Canadian.
