Curious
I believe that I have become somewhat of an expert on windshields (at great
expense). I have put 3 windshields on my V-Rod, Buell and '06 K1200GT. Tall
is not necessary the best for the Buell and the V-Rod. Keeping the wind from
bending your neck back far enough, that you'd need a chiropractor seems to
be the ideal for that type of motorcycle. I have picked smaller windshields
that deflect the wind off of my chest on the Buell and the V-Rod. The taller
windshields just blasted wind at my head.
Also, on the GT, I put the Cee Bailey full sized windshield on it. this
allows me to keep my seat height at it's highest without getting blasted.
Funny though. I don't seem to need the earplugs as much with the stock Road
King windshield, as I do on the '06 K1200GT. It seems the wind comes around
the GT's windshield and blows through my ears, while the Road King isn't
affected. I think this must be the distance between the rider and the
windshield itself.

God how I love riding! It can be better than sex. It can be horrible, as
well (just like sex). In wind, ice, snow and heavy rain. Just brutal. Dust
storms anyone?

After you get married, you won't have to deal with that anymore.
Riding or sex? The sex stuff works itself out with age and stress.
I am amazed that Harley hasn't started marketing H-D walkers, wheelchairs,
electric wheelchairs and adult diapers.
Seeing their aging market, that would make good sense to me.

Yes, it did snow yesterday, didn't it? I saw cars coming down off the
Western Divide with snow piled on their hoods,
but fortunately the snow flakes were melting as they hit the road at
lower altutude.
