Hi All,

Anyone have any experience with the TW200?  Good machine?  Reliability?
Miles per gallon?  Is there a better unit you would recommend in this class?

Sure would appreciate your thoughts and experience....

One word to describe this machine.....FUN!

We have two in our 'stable' that we use to teach the MSF class.  I have seen
these things abused, dropped, run into and they just keep going.  Never fail
to start and are a lot of fun to ride.

Can't comment on the mileage, but I expect it is pretty good.  If our MSF
bikes ever come up for sale, they would be snapped up pretty fast by the
instructors here.  I would buy one in a heartbeat.

I'm jealous now.....

If you could forgo the big fat funny wheels, a Honda CRF230 is a
decent trail bike...

I love mine!  Really haven't paid much attention to it but it keeps on
going.   Rides fine on paved roads, comfortable up to ~55, if you need to go
that fast on it.  Great in the woods and easy for me to control.  Usually
run it in 1st for 2nd on the logging trails.
One issue and I don't know what it's called.  When it hasn't been run for a
while, it might  have have a hard time starting.  A Yamaha mechanic friend
said it was kind of like some old snowmobiles.  (don't have a clue what that
means but folks in the know seemed to understand)  Even with the choke fully
out, it wasn't getting enough gas.  He said to pull the choke out, turn the
key but don't try to crank it over yet.  Tip the bike over on it side until
it "pees" - gas comes out from somewhere.  This floods whatever it needs to
then the bikes starts up quickly.  This has been working for me and has
never given me a problem since.
