Yet another recommendation question... (mid-weight cruiser)

 I'm enjoying my 1999 V-Star 650 Classic, but I'm getting the itch for
something new.  I'm considering a newer (2004) Honda Aero, and even the
Suz SV650.  My likes are cruisers (even though I considered the more
sporty Suzuki in my list above).  Don't want a sport bike.

I do mostly local jaunts and enjoy the backroads.  Just 1 up riding.
I'm not a speed demon or anything.  Any suggestions?  I prefer the jap
reliability (and affordability) of honda's or yam's.

Any suggestions on what I should take a look at?  Thanks.

V-Star's big brother, the V-Star 1100, which I have ridden.  Both

I'm not sure if there is really any reliability advantage to Honda
or Yamaha over Kawasaki or Suzuki.  I've owned more Kawasakis and
Suzukis than Hondas, and never owned a Yamaha, but all makes have
been reliable if taken care of.

Get one of the new Yammie Roadliner, or Stratoliners.

Save yourself the constant upgrade syndrome. They handle like smaller
bikes and have lots of grunt!

Or, if you don't mind the size get a Valkyrie and be spoiled for life.
