Hello all,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to put aftermarket ape hangers
with a diameter of 7/8 in on a 2000 vstar 650 if the stock bars on it
now are 1in ? Or, do the aftermarket bars HAVE to be 1" also? Thank
you much!

If the diameter is smaller, you will need new risers, and the controls
won't fit anymore: grips, throttle, brake levers, etc.
Check out Flanders. They might have what you want in the diameter you
need.
