So you're saying that we should think of you as a troll rather than a
thief.
Gotcha.

It's become really obvious that what others think doesn't matter. The
quickness of the finger pointing just shows how many are sitting back in
judgement of things they know little about.
It's called the 'service' industry for a reason. You guys may be happy
to have something fall off a product you buy and just shrug you
shoulders and walk away when the first point of contact says, "Sorry,
nothing we can do".

Why do you think that's what ANYONE is suggesting you do,
or that you only have the two options (steal the part or walk away)
that you're assuming.
Again: it's NOT the dealer with whom you have the beef.

Brian, whatever we know about is based ENTIRELY on what you type. If
we know little about it, or if we draw conclusions based on incomplete
information, whose fault is that?

You assume that that is what others would do, lacking complete
information and jumping to that as a conclusion and making a judgement
about others.
Think about it.

Why is everyone assuming that BrianNZ is at fault? I take Brian's
postings to mean the helmet is custom painted (probably high $$
invested) for him and *HE* doesn't want to return the helmet, but
rather get a 20 cent part to make it whole and useable again without
spending said high bucks to have another done up. I see lots of
jumping to conclusions, assumptions and very little factual data.
