Hi folks,
I need a quick answer: I wonder if that 500 miles
http://tinyurl.com/4b6uc3 (road 17 above Lake Superior) have got some
twisties on it. It looks quite curvy on the map but I am not sure how it
is in real.
Thx, Andy

I have ridden that road several times and highly recommend it. While
I would not describe it as twisty, it is a combination of high speed
sweepers and a few bendy bits. The scenery is terrific and if you keep
your eyes open you will find a cool little ice cream shop en route.

Yes, except for the dropped zero. I consider anything ove 100 mph to
be a high speed turn.

Answering my own message is in bad form but I just found this site and
these pictures of one of my cross country rides, including a few shots
of 17 as it winds around Lake Superior.
