Are sidecars rigidly mounted to the bike or does the connection pivot
to allow the bike to lean into turns?

I'd estimate that 95% of the models out there are rigid mounts. You
can find one or two that lean with the bike, but be prepared to pay
for that option.

And to find it unsatisfactory when you discover what kind of lean
angles you can achieve with a sidecar in the way...

It does take some getting used to. <g> Going right, you can always
fly the car... It's them left turns into the car that tell you how
rigid the mounts really are. Mine's long gone this past spring in
exchange for the GSA. Now that's a dramatic change of riding style.
