One of the best things is the near absence of other vehicles and .... there
are NO cops!
Another is that all curves are banked....

Roma, Tivoli and Polombara Italy. And Tuscana, Italy. With my new Italian
Harley rider friends. And MOAB.

Riding around the South Island with a mate. Random pub overnighters,
bike racing at Teretonga, the 'Catlins' at speed, Arthurs pass, Buller
gorge.....a very enjoyable week which will be repeated early next year
on the new bike. Hopefully there will be the same fantastic weather and
lack of police.

I did a weekend trhough Adirondack park in New York. Passed through Lake
Placid. The leaves were changing and all the mountains were red and orange.
The roads were like new and had lots of curves and hills and you could
travel at 50mph . A nice leisurly drive.
Everyone raves about the Blue Ridge parkway but I couldn't take more than a
day of it. Nice and scenic but too slow. Of course, I happened to land there
on a long weekend when everyone was out for a slow Sunday drive
Best trip I ever went on was through the parks in Utah and up to Moab etc.
Spectacular!
