I have a 1971 Honda 350. It had a bad tank and I had it resealed on
the inside. All of the sealer ran off the walls of the tank and is
now plugging the hose lines. I need to know if there is a chemical
that will eat away the sealer but not harm the inside of the tank. If
there isn’t, is there any other way to get it out.

Get a Roto Zip bit for ceramics and use your electric drill or Dremel
tool to hog out the built up resin that is causing the plug. Use a
Metal epoxy like LocTite or J&B Weld that can be tapped and threaded
and is impervious to gasoline (read the labels). You should be able to
do this yourself for under $20.

I'd expect the threads to be on the outside of the
drain pipes, so there'd be no worry about the threads
if the clog is on the inside of the pipe.
I had a milder but similar problem after a tank treatment
and opened the obstructed drains out by hand, using a
drill bit held in a tap wrench handle. A moto tool would
probably work nicely too.
