my 200cc 1980 twinstar is 6 a volt yet when i search a new battery
they are all 12 volt.

Google a bit more and get the lowest price on a Yuasa BS54-6 or
equivalent battery. www.denniskirk.com has them, and you can probably
get them from www.jcwhitney.com, or check the www.walmart.com
catalog for an equivalent Taiwanese battery.

so 80s are all 6vt and the fiches are wrong. that helps. actually tha
battery in it is o k but i just got the bike last spring so i want to
be prepared. btw. i love this little bike. the 84mpg is easy to take
also.
