I'm trying to replace the rear sprocket on my '72 cl350 but the
sprocket just won't budge. I removed the 4 nuts and the large circlip
and washer but the sprocket seems to be stuck to the four bolts. It
won't budge. According to the shop manual, once the nuts and circlip
are removed, the sprocket should just slide off. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Gabe.

Maybe the bolts are corroded a bit and stuck in the holes in the sprocket.
How about some penetrating oil?

Heat and, as B12 suggests, penetrating oil. And a hammer.

Thanks so much. Penetrating oil and a hammer did it!
