Hey Guys,
I have just started a custom bike build. It will have a 300 rear tire.
I am trying to take advantage of the sale on rear fenders at West Coast
Choppers before the sale is over. My wheels are still about 5 weeks out
so I don't have them yet. I will be using Avon rubber mounted on an 18
X 10.5 wheel. I want a fender that will hug close to the tire plus room
for tire expansion. The space between the rear tubes is 15 1/8 inches.
Is there a standard size fender width to use with a 300 tire or do I
just have to wait on the arrival of the tires and wheels before I order
and sheetmetal?

Just start with any ol' Schwinn front fender , and widen as you see fit.

How many beer cans will it take before you have enough to build a fender
with?
