What is the horsepower rating of a Suzuki 1400 Intruder of the 1996 vintage?

Never mind, I found it. They started at 71hp in 1987, then dropped to 65
in 1995 then to 60 in 1998 to present day. Not much for a big engine.
100hp is common now for big boys 1800 and up.

We used to see dyno charts in the American motocycle magazines (1)
several
years ago, but only one magazine (Cycle or Cycle World) actually did
the dyno tests and the other major magazines had to buy the rights to
republish the info.

Sport Rider publishes dyno results for their full tests. Road Racing
World & Motorcycle Technology publishes dyno results on a Dynojet
Model 250I dyno for their full and comparison tests. Rider magazine
publishes dyno results on a Jett Tuning Dynojet dyno. Cycle World
publishes dyno results for bikes that theyt conduct full tests on.
Motorcyclist dyno tests their subject bikes on a SuperFlow
Technologies Group dyno (1).

Heh.
It was the usual posting from someone who wanted to be a bike journo,
tried, and got knocked back.
