Ok, so I went out and bought a used Yamaha fz6 from a dealership for
supposed peace of mind. Maybe a mistake, who knows. I've been riding
it for about 5 days now and just today i noticed a couple of rubber
tubes hanging pretty much under the middle of the bike by a couple
inches.
This may be a stupid question, but I'm not sure if this is right. Is
it something I should be concerned about? The dealer supposedly
thoroughly inspects the bikes. Anyways, I am worried and I will post
pictures if no one can tell me anything about these strange rubber
tubes.
I appreciate the help and by the way, I love riding!

They'll be breather tubes or carb overflow pipes (if we're talking FZ600
here and not the new FI Fazer - you do not make it clear) or crankcase
breather pipes or airbox overflow pipes.

Except if one is the battery vent tube and it is touching the frame that
is a bad idea if acid vents there. It should hang low enough to be clear
of the metal.

True - except battery breather tubes are plastic and clear and not
rubber ;-)
