Hi there, does anyone know how to remove the bottom timing cog on a
kawasaki gpx (Also known as the EX or ninja)250? It looks as though you
would need a special tool to remove it as there are no allen bolts or
any other obvious ways to remove it.Any help or guidance on this matter
would be appreciated.

If you're talking the sprocket for the camchain, on the crank, you
can't, I don't think. At least, it's been integral with the crank on
every other bike I've seen, except for those with the cam drive at one
end of the crank.

I should have qualified: bikes with one-piece (plain bearing) cranks.

I suppose you could pull apart a pressed-up roller bearing crank and
replace the section with the camchain sprocket on it, though I've never
known anyone do it.
