I got myself a late 60's scrambler 350 they are worth it at that price
even if you can't get it running and want to part it out ,you will find
buyers for the parts .
They also are used for building low buck choppers and customs the bike
is quick different people have told me they will take off and their top
speed is around 80 mph and cruise easily at 55 mph, a great little bike
to scoot around town or on the local highways (just stay off freeways or
the interstate thats too dangerous for this bike) ,but you have allot of
options with it at that price .
Here is a site too check to see what people have done with bikes this
age and vintage : www.ironcross.net and check out the articles ,it shows
very easy and inexpensive ways to build a custom or chopper and the list
of companies that can give you ideas what to do with it or help you out.
Good Luck and if you get it have fun ,nothing is more satisfying than to
bring back to life a lifeless bike and telling people I did that, just
be patient doing it.
