Actually what I read, is the warrantee changes depending on geographic
location and to check with the representative in YOUR area? That doesn't
make sense at all,and I'm not sure it's even legal.That said,how would
they even know whether you used a BT or any other charger? I know many
people on my Concours and NH groups that have the PC batteries and use
BT's with no problem. But what do I know,I retired at 45.

Allowed warrantee limitations can vary based on state laws. That's the
geographic dependency.

It may produce characteristic damage? "A Battery Tender Plus did THIS"

Note that the original "SuperSmart" BT is just fine. It's the current
SuperShit "BT Plus" and the "BT Jr" wall-wart style models that are a
romper-room no-no.

Obviously you never read the articles.

Until I looked at the URL, I didn't know there was that big of a
difference myself, and I own an original "SuperSmart" which has done
fine for me. I'll not be buying another BT product though.

Just another case of an American company building a reputation on a nice
product, then discontinuing that product and selling a chunk of shit
that just LOOKS like the original product.

It's like where Sears no longer really honors the Craftsman "no
questions asked" tool warrantee and now hassles the hell out of you when
you try to return a tool.

Me? I shop at Harbor Freight now.
