Thanks for the info! Makes me jealous since I am out on the left coast
and won't be able to have a look see. I love the old bikes!
Congrats on finding a flexible promoter too. That is the most reasonable
compromise on 4 stroke vs. two smoke I have seen. The current 125 vs.
250 or 250 vs. 450 in MX or AHMRA rules should go to school on this.
Only other thing I have heard and I am sure you have heard it too is
welding up pistons crowns to increase compression and change combustion
chamber shape. It has been so long since I have read anything about it I
assumed the newer alloys make it impossible.
