why they getting hot for in juss 5 min with the key turned to on
position ? plus my brights and high beam indicator stay on in my 91
gsxr 1100 .

Check out your high beam relay. The headlights plug into relays that
carry the headlight power instead of running all that power through
the headlight dimmer switch.

Check to see if you have 12 volts through the switch to the relays.

It means that you've got a wiring fault. Find it before it burns up your
bike.
