Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone has had experience with these.
I am looking for a good design that protects the radiators from side
impact or crushing.I have sighted some but they dont appear to also
protect the rad lower tank.
I am really enjoying my WR after 16 or so years on XR 250s.
We are in winter here in NewZealand but that is not holding me back
from riding.
I am looking at a trip to the States however in August.Into L.A with a
jaunt to Bonneville may be up to Seattle via Boise Idaho.

Here's the offering for your model, from my favorite radiator guard
producer:

The radiator guard "home page" of Flatland's Yamaha page in their
catalog let's you see the side protection:

I have used them on all my GasGas bikes, and my (former) customers
used them on all makes. I have heard few complaints, and many
favorable comments.

Hey!!! I'd be a *current* customer if you would just do your
part!
I've used the Flatland guards on a YZ250F and would give it 5
stars across the board.
