I sure wish I had to left feet. I got to Hollister early to beat the crowd,
but I grabbed both left boots after stealing parts from the older pair last
night. I think this was my coal equivalent. On my way home in all my gear
but boot and body armor, I passed probably 100 trucks loaded down headed
into Hollister. Maybe this was my gift after all.

That's a recurring nightmare of mine...

I did that at the last flat track of the year. The left boot is from
another pair as that is what the steel shoe fits. Grabbed one
of my normal boots and didn't look closely enough and grabbed
the left one.
I forced it on and rode. Got a lot of funny looks at the rider's meeting.
Go fast. Take chances.

Wouldn't a work book work okay for the right foot of a turn left flat
tracker?
I assume the rules wouldn't allow it?

Yep, that would be OK as far as rules even. But all I had was
tennis shoes and two left motocross boots and didn't want to drive
1.5 hours home to get a right boot.
