Brand new Honda twin pipe 250 four stroke, $3983.00 plus tax.
The youngun ain't taking to the CR125, just too hard to keep
on the pipe.  Any reason I should spend another 2 grand or so
for a 2010?  He's going to mostly trail ride it and practice
track ride with some local MX at a very novice level thrown in.

My bud has the 2010, he loves the suspension and the Fuel Injection...
His first year racing he was smoking the c class until he got hurt. He
is 14 years old...   Everyone who rides his bike (I don't do thumpers)
absolutely loves it, hands down...

OK, I can get a 2010 for $5333.00.  Is the improved suspension and
FI worth $1350?

I would say if you are racing, absolutely without a doubt, period, no
questions asked... The suspension is superior to the '09 and the power
delivery is just incredible... (from what I am told by several riders)

If you are not racing, it really depends on how hard you are going to
play and how long you are going to keep the bike in my opinion. Is a
smoother ride, and "better" suspension worth $1350, you have to decide
that? On the other hand, I have always just loved the dual pipe Hondas,
just the looks, something about them, and would take either one but if
you can afford the FI and Suspension upgrade, if the $1350 is not a real
issue,  I would probably just go ahead and buy the 010... Even if I was
just buying the bike to ride for myself...

Just my opinion and remember I have only been in the sport for three
years. I have never even ridden a Husky, or a Gas, Gas..;) The closest
thing I ever got to woods crashing was my hard tail mini and the TTR125
out at a local riders club for a day;) But I do know a lot of folks who
ride 2fiddys every day...;)

I would go for the newer of the two....the suspension alone is enough
to go for it.
