some results I have and need some tips here, we have 2 new CRF 230L
bikes, I made a slip on for my bike, I rejetted both bikes the same and
we modified the stock exhaust on my buddy's bike, my bike with the slip
on has more bottom & mid power falls flat on top revs, my buddys bottom
& mid is not as strong as mine but pulls better on top, I did not get
his out on the road, but I feel his will probably top out near 80 and
mine at 70mph, so I am thinking what I can do to my pipe, add to the
length or possibly make an adapter to put in the end of the pipe to make
the hole smaller, will that help it on top, or maybe I need a bigger
main jet.

put a fresh sparkplug in check plug
color after a decent run...
if you really want to get a read on jetting
you might want to consider welding a
fitting in the header for a oxy sensor...

if you don't want to spend or bother with that
then the good old run & move the needle
clip / jetting one step at a time until you get it right

<tips for tuning carbs>
main jet is the topend 3,000rpm +
might need to adjust yours
or shorten/lengthen your pipe...
pilot/needle clip adjust for bottom/mid
buddies bike needs tweaking
