Wish I could find something that'll let me see abpm at work...
Anyway, if you have a hole all the way through it, you could just tap
*that* and use a bolt/copper washer as the new drain plug.
I guess the magnetic drain plug had a hole drilled pretty far into it
for the magnet.
If the plug is steel, mig-welding a nut onto it is still an option. If
you were near me (central NY) I'd give it a shot for you.
