OK, I understand the difference from what they've done in the past
but "first time ever" ??  One round in Canada and no international
rounds?  Still.

 CrashTestDummy suggests:

They already do.  Reed, Vuillemin, Byrne, Langston, Sorby,
Townley, McFarlane, Davalos, Pourcel, and others were all
in the top twenty in points last year. America invented supercross,
dominates it, and does a good enough job promoting it that
there's never been a need for an international supercross series.

[cool schedule deleted]

Yep, I'd love to see a SX inside the Citadel at Namur.  But the team
travel budget would go WAY up.

I think that if the FIM started a true international SX series, you'd
see
the same effect as we have now in outdoors.  AMA will do their own
thing and past world champions will come here to prove themselves
against the best in the world.  With the exception of Everts, they've
all either done that already or talked about it.

I'd like to see a world indoor trials round in the US.  Maybe if this
Smage kid does well the next few years over there we'll have a chance
of getting one.

Go fast. Take chances.

For the RMD remedial readers, KEY WORDS ABOVE - seamless - however -
beyond

..I say after 30+ years it's about time!

..now if we could just get back to factory teams fielding true works
bikes...ah, what am I thinking...how could a privateer from say Bedford
Falls EVER win an international series against those dreaded and feared
pros on works bikes...

Best Regards - Mike Baldwin
