Actually, I have no idea where we're going to put it. I guess I can
keep my Husky in the living room...

Last night Eric and I picked up a cherry `03 DE300 for a measly $1500.
It is on its second set of tires ever (and they look pretty good!) as
the original owner said it was his goal to ride once a month in the
winter. The swingarm isn't even acratched. The bike has barely been
ridden!

It's got all the standard GG goodies (different chain guide, LTR
jetting and powervalve cover, aluminum impeller thingy) and all the
top-end goodies like skidplate, radiator braces, bars, disc guards,
etc. We even got a really nice aluminum stand.

Eric is thinking about putting his suspension on it, and I'm thinking
about lowering the DE suspension (WP forks and Ohlins shock-we can do
it ourselves) and putting them on his 250 <G> See? Everyone's a
winner!

You can store it here;) Anyway, off to google all the stuff you just
mentioned..I don't even know what a DE is, but I will in a few. Hope
you have fun with it and go ahead and ride it a little before you
start tearing it apart. The rain just stopped here, hummm.. wonder if
the acess road is washed out;)

That's fantastic! Way to go!!!

I've been looking, but haven't seen a deal like that (so far).
It sounds like you're going to get that bike you've been thinking
about for such a long time.
If I can help, just let me know.

Thanks, Jim.

The best part about this bike (other than the price and the shape it's
in, of course)
is it was originally bought from you by Matt Ruiz, one of the nicest
most down-to-earth guys we've ever met. We're keeping it in the
family<G>

Thanks, Jim. I told Eric I'd buy whatever the 300 needs (so far, only
a pipe guard, and one of the fork guards was missing but he took one
off my KTM) if he ends up lowering the 250 for me. Good deal, eh?

You need to shop in my neck of the woods. Late model 200-250 GGs all
seem to be running in the $2000 +/- $500 range. Makes the $1400 I
spent on my 125 look like a fortune (which it was...).
