Got a sore throat from yelling and blew out my shouder throwing dirty
dishes at the TV while trying to watch our clusterf*ck of a president
spewing tripe all over my living room...figured I'd throw an on-topic
query to my favorite group instead:
I've seen a fair amount of action on the forums regarding snow bike
conversions lately - mostly the Bovin model:
http://www.explorermoto.com/home_en.aspx
I haven't heard much from the Snomoto guys since Ridaho '02 (now
"2moto"), but apparently they're still at it:
http://www.2moto.net/
The 2moto guys system seems more complex (includes suspension) than
the Bovin Explorer, but also appears to be a slicker and more robust
solution. The 2moto rig is also significantly more expensive than the
Explorer, not that either of them could be considered affordable
(2moto costs what I paid for my whole new CRF250X, and that's on sale
- the Explorer runs what I paid for my new CR125R =8^O ). I still
want one. Anybody try either one yet? Any relevant info?

No I haven't tried one but I remember quite a while ago seeing someone at
Manchester Honda riding a similar thing in front of the business where more
parking area is now which was based on a Kawasaki triple. we must be
talking at least 25 or more years ago. They never caught on. I saw on the
way to an enduro one time lately a quad with four caterpillar tracks where
the wheels usually go on display in front of a quad dealer. Oh I can assure
you the guy riding the triple based snowmobile cross was having fun.
