OK, I have been off my GasGas for way, WAY too long. (and RMD for
that matter) It's much safer to power slide the Gas Gas than the FZ1
and I need my hooligan fix before I do something stupid and throw my
street bike in the weeds. Anyway, I plan on hitting Hollister for a
full day either this weekend or next. If any of you SF Bay area
spodes are interested, let me know.

Good to hear it, Baxter! Wish you could have come to Metcalf with us
week before last. You didn't miss much, though. It was hot and dusty
and hard-packed. You did, however, miss a glorious dusting of snow up
at Deer Creek last weekend which gave us epic conditions for Sunday
<G> I think Deer Creek is my new favorite place (in CA anyway) now
that Clear Creek is closed.
We're going up to Stony for the Jackhammer Enduro next weekend. I'll
do it if conditions are good, even though I'm not really supposed to
be riding yet.

Well...you guys *do* know me rather well <G>
Speaking of which, I somehow managed to fall off my own 2 feet again
last weekend. Eric was doing something to his GasGas (I dunno...motor
rebuild, replacing the reed block, new carburetor...ya know, something
like that...) and I was wandering around taking pictures of the rocks.
I had a gas bottle in my left hand and the camera in my right. I
tripped on the rocks and rather than ruin either of those very
important items, I tucked my wrists and landed on the backs of my
hands. Scratched and bruised, but otherwise good as new! Pfft...who
needs bubble wrap?
