Hey guys!
I ordered a Berik Boot back brace kit online and they sent the wrong
size. They sent me the correct size but didn't want this one back
(return shipping not worth it...)
Anyway, if anyone here can use it I'll mail it to you (United States
only and not Hawaii or Alaska).
I'll send it to the first person to email me at:
kxdude4ATsbcglobalDOTnet (of course change the AT and DOT to the
appropriate symbols).
Take care!
Scott

It's a plastic thing that goes along the back of the boot - I don't
think it's as much for support as it is for protection (yeah, I could
be wrong but I envisioned it as protection from a broken chain comin'
around and slapping your calves...)
Check this out and look at the side pic:

The back of the boot is plastic that screws on....
Berik MX boots are aparently not selling well but bought RC for a
year... now everyone's getting rid of their stuff. I bought a pair
as well as extra accessories. My main boots are Alpinestars 6's and I
love 'em. I got a pair of RC boots for $165 and thought I should get
some replacement parts to them while I can....
Again.. If anyone wants the back braces, email me (addy in first
post).
Roost-On!!!

Those are getting blown out all over the place. I was thinking of
getting a pair myself - how do they fit? They look like they are cut
a bit narrow. How's the width, calf space, and size vs. shoe size?
Does it seem feasible to grind off the eyeballs? Personally, I'd
never wear a pair with those eyeballs on them (which is why they
aren't selling well, IMHO), even for $129 (current Motosport price).

Hey Jay!
I bought 2 pair and they're nice! COMFORTABLE. Now I gotta say, my
main boots are a pair of Alpinestar 6's and they're great. The Berik
is nice too and for the price, great. I have a FAT foot (grew up in
Hawaii and went barefoot most of my youth - called Luau feet) so I'm
really an 11.5 WWW so I get the 12. The Beriks are wider but known to
be a bit shorter for the size which suits my feet. My A-Stars are old
school (like me) black, and my Beriks are white and Ricky
Bk-Wt-Yellow. Since I completely suck now at riding, I at least try
to look color co-ordinated :-)
Realistically, almost all boots are pretty darn protective - the old
Full Bore and Hi-Points I had in the 70's were good. Comfort is the
key... at least for me, and these are comfy so I feel fine wearing
them.
NOW... can I GIVE THESE back braces to ANYONE???? Dang!!
