I have found a couple of sites where I can get spokes but what then. I
have trued wheels on bicycles, but never a motorized vehicle. I have
several questions such as, how tight to make them, and how do you
guage it? Does anyone have a link to a site that might get me started
here, I can't imagine too many of you pay the $100 the local cycle
shop wants. I do have one other option. A friend of the Mouses' dad is
a street racer and says he will do if for $50.. Thanks again in
advance for all of your input, I gotta' get the Mouse back on the
track before the 15 which will hopefully be her first girls mini race
at the worm farm.

For those who missed it, I think I didn't notice loose rear spokes one
day when the track was real muddy. The Mouse tore all the spokes out
of the back wheel in a huge rut.

RMR, broken bikes, but no broken riders, life it good;)

I would ask the street guy how much extra (beer) it would cost if he let you
watch and talked you through the process.

Hmmmm... Yeah, and I do make some pretty good beer;)

RMR.. Yup, I'm a homebrewer too. That might be the best way to go...
Thanks.

are you replacing all of the spokes or just the broken ones?

I think I want to replace all of them. Many stripped out of the
threaded end and I don't really trust the ones that look like they
didn't. I will try to post a picture this afternoon.

RMR.. The mud was a foot deep and the Mouse has 12 inch wheels.. It
was quite a day, even the big bikes were bogging down, coming to a
stop, and falling over in the stuff. At one point some guy on the
other side of the course had to pull her and her bike out of a bog,
Both were stuck in pretty good, she couldn't get her feet out either;)
