My daughter lives there. She felt it a little, but nothing fell or broke.

It's fun to watch easterners during eqrthquakes, they get all flustered.
An office visitor was on the toilet when a big one happened and she
got sloshed. She kept bumping into walls and they finally sent her back
to the hotel for the rest of the day.

I was walking. I didn't even feel it. A friend phoned and told us
about it. Damn, I miss all the fun.

Cheers, Bev
I have six locks on my door all in a row. When I go out, I lock
every other one. I figure no matter how long somebody stands there
picking the locks, they are always locking three.

Yea, for those of us that enjoy a "moderate" little tembler.
This one was kind of a disappointment. Mostly just a "roller"
and not the big boom type we have had in the past.
Too bad I was not outside to see the side walk, trees, etc..
sway and wave up and down. That is so cool to watch.
When the "Big One" hits though. I ain't going to be so happy.
That is a whole different matter. Anything over a 6.5 really
gets you attention.
Rock on So. Cal.
Jeff.
BTW, Bill, glad to hear you'all are safe and sound.
I suspect you got a lot bigger jolt out of this one than
I did. You're within 5 miles of ground zero.

A 5.4 in Pakistan, India or Iran would kill 10,000 to 100,000 right
off. US aid would pour in by the plane full and nobody would say
thanks. Over here a 5.4 and some shelves loose their products but that
is about all. Ain't America great? OF

Jeff,
it shook our building pretty good. Starting rolling and then we did
get the big shaking. Heard the wood cracking and all. Everything is
good though.

thanks.......
