Rode about 45 miles at china hat on monday Boy was it dusty! This only
my second ride since I tore my knee apart, yes I had my knee guards on!
Me and Ryan, my 16yr old mxer, had a great time. It took me about 15
minutes to knock the rust off, then it was fun, lots of tight turns and
not very many whoops! We rode the north section, saw some nice mule deer
lots of suicidal timber tigers (chipmunks) and a nice big badger who
stared me down for awhile, I let him have the right away! Gunna be fifty
in a month, and every part of my body is sore, but it is a good kinda
sore! Gotta get back into this! I forgot how much I miss it! And I
forgot how slow I am, compared to a 16yr old! But I can live with that!

Welcome back, Joe!

Good to hear you're back in the saddle and that your knees are all
healed up. I remember the photos...gross!
