Dear all,
yesterday the kids had a ball on a deserted sand-and-grass parkinglot...3
inches of snow and a small dirtbike is a sure recipy for fun ;)
After unloading the bike was warmed up carefully, we want this first
generation chinese p.o.c. to last us a lifetime (6 years sofar).
I showed the kids what total loss of traction does to a reardriven object,
almost didnt crash.
Taking turns in skidding, drifting and making "snow-nuts", the kids worked
up a sweat while i was recovering from my full length snowdip.
In my defence: kids crashed a lot too, which was great fun for both
spectators and performer.
Left footpeg and gearshifter are a bit bent now and the left handgrip is
torn, but the engine ran beautifully and we had megafun.
Sure the bike is slightly small for the kids, someday soon i will produce a
somewhat bigger bike for them.

Pymer, I thought that was you.
Thanks for the ride report. Sounds like you had a day of family fun.
Good Riding!

Did anyone mention to Pymer, P1, Flippie, et al. that he is a
possible candidate for a SpodeFest scholarship?
Seeing as how nobody else has shown any real interest
in that doobie'st of honor from reading the past posts.
Just under 7 months till ISF2010. We need to start nailing
that little item down soon. As there are several hundred $$$.$$
worth of offers sitting on the table.
Otherwise I'll spend that money on cachaça and hairy coconuts.
imjustsay'n.

So I've been wondering about these southern hemisphere drinks
but not enough to go searching for them. Then Amy the Wonder
Wife drags me to the Clevo Art Museum (newly renovated) and then
dinner at Sergio's which has on it's drink menu - CAIPIRINHA

Yum!
Now what's a hairy coconut?
Go fast. Take chances.
