Any news since this morning or are you all suffocated by oak leaves?
I've heard rumors of a branch in someone's driveway, but that's just
crazy talk.

Rather varied responses here in my beach neighborhood. About 80% of
the people have left, as requested. About 5% have plywood on all their
windows. The front row houses at the beach have been on borrowed time
for the last decade or three.
I took over 600 poounds of projectiles to the dump. I especially hated
to throw away all that 5/4x6 mahogany scrap (many with acute angle
cuts for extra penetration). Then I stacked my other lumber and lashed
it together into a unit. I just worked my ass off until I was full
zombie, not having slept for about 48 hours. Tried to sleep but I'm
all twisted with tasks. I'm having coffee now at 1:50 am. I'm wired so
wrong that coffee actually helps me sleep.
I missed the 2nd moto of Southwick. I hope Dowd got the points to keep
his number. He took ninth I think in moto 1, at 46 years old.
Right now, my biggest concern is for my tomato plants. Oh the horror!
I have some grape tomatoes this year called yellow jelly beans -
excellent in every way; tasty, nice to look at and super productive
plants. I took at least three quarts, perfectly ripe, off of my one
yjb plant yesterday.
The next 24 hours are the big thing here. Probably with 11am high tide
being the exciting climax. I fear my dune will be gone. If my dune
makes it, I'm breaking open the bubbly that's been rotting in the
fridge.
Ooops, lights just flickered. Better send.
Thanks for asking.

8th or 9th overall. He's still good on keeping the number.

I'll ttry some of those next year. I have Sweet 100s planted 3/3-gallon
container which are pretty good. I wish I had some ground to plant them
in, but I'll take what I can get. I tried growing real tomatoes in
containers, with no success at all -- except I learned about cat-facing :-(
