I got a call from my fellow GasGas rider and occasional riding partner
Josh Golden a couple weeks ago. Turns out the guy he carpools with
rides and was interested in trials riding with Josh. Josh called me
to ask if I was interested in selling my trials bike. I wasn't sure,
but I said he could try it and if he likes it then he could buy it
from me. Well, he rode it, liked it and brought me the money
yesterday afternoon. I hope it helps him as much as it helped me. Not
to worry, I will get another in the future.

I am waiting for someone to make me an offer for my 86 XL600 when the
price of gas gets high enough. I imagine $4.50 a gallon will be a
great motivator. The only thing I will dread though is the phone call
later on stating the new owner kicked it 20 times and it still won't
start. When I bought it 10 years ago. I couldn't get it started
after I got it home. I was way too embarassed to call the seller and
ask him to tell me the drill all over again. I DID figure it out
after wearing myself out big time. The evil beast only lights off
easy if it is ridden daily. Let it sit for a while and it punishes
you with a sore foot, leg and back. If it really hates you, it will
foof out crossing an intersection making you drop the stand get up and
kick like mad while cars are working their way around you. Other than
that, it is a fine bike that loves to be ridden.
