Shitty little house w/ 60x60 dirt-floor garage on ~210ac surrounded by
a thousand more in conservation.  Private potential riding mecca, just
under an hour drive.  If all goes as planned, mine in a couple of
months.  Jayrassic Park East.

Thanks, but it has underground utilities...

OTOH, what I DO need is to find a 6' snowblower for my tractor, else
I'm going to be spending the winter on the road a 1/2 mile out,
wondering if the place is still standing.

How about a beater plow truck that never has to leave the property?
1001 uses. Would that do the job, or is blowing the only way?
I know a big wet snowfall can get very heavy, very fast.

YouTube has a gorgeous selection of snow removal videos... I suggest this
approach for your new place:

or this:

There was supposedly a marketing film made of a 1920's (give or take)
Walter Snow Fighter dealing with snow over it's roof that was something to
see back in the day. Would love to find it. You wouldn't believe how
over-built they were. I once shared a hospital room with a guy named
Tony... maybe 70's.. lived up in the hill towns here that had been working
the county Walter for most of his life. He worked the wing blade on the
outside. When he'd get cold, he'd tap the cab and let the driver know he
was going to run behind the plow for a while to warm up. Hated deep storms
because you had to guess where the road was that didn't always work out.
Think I wrote about him once in RMD but can't find it. (Does Google search
work on RMD for others? Can't search anything...)
