Fail.

Took less total time with tire irons than the f'ing around with the
trash bag.  And this was on a KLR tire with no rim lock.  Maybe for
tires with very little sidewall strength it might work or in an
emergency where it was more important to succeed, but I won't be
trying it again as a first choice.

I think it may only be applicable to clincher rims,
which are basically oversize bicycle rims.  They
don't have a true drop center, as you can see in
the video.  I don't think those style rims have
been on any motorcycle since the 50's, maybe
even the 30's.  Tires then were made of used
condoms or something too, much less stiff
sidewalls.

Go fast. Take chances.

The video is specific to clincher rims, but I figured it was worth a
shot.  I've always done bicycle tires by hand, no tools, no trashbags,
etc.

Yeah, I can't see it being much quicker, especially with that neat tool
my bud has that holds the bead and hooks to the spokes.

seconds of my life with my eyes closed, screaming like a little

Should note that the fastest I have heard of was about two and a half
minutes but the fastest I have seen was Kevins Race Service a Winchester
a few weeks back, we blew a tire when the practice was being called.
Kevin took off the tire, changed the tube, and put it back on (with
spoons, a bead buddy and a tire changer rack) in about 4 1/2 minutes
while we stood there and watched. He actually seemed to enjoy the
challenge of getting her on the track;) Only charged me $20 for the
whole deal but we park with him a lot at the races...
