Forwarded, town meeting for track in Mass.

 

This was an email I received today, I thought I would pass it along. I
hear it was a pretty nice track until the town got it shut down after a
tragic event several years ago. I met the fellow at a race the other
week, most folks there seemed to know and support him.

Message from Central Cycle Club.

 On March 30, 2010 at 7:00pm there will be a hearing
 at the Uxbridge, Mass High School Auditorium on RT 16
 on Capron Street at the end of that road.

 This meeting will be to discuss the re-opening of the Uxbridge
 Motocross Track owned by club member Steve Griff.  Steve is
 requesting all people interested in helping him get this track
 reopened to attend this meeting. This meeting will be with the
 towns politicians who are trying to stop the track from reopening.

 The more people that show up, the better.

Holy crap, they're still at it?
I met Griff back in the snake oil days. Nice guy. I believe we shared
a beer or three.

The track looked like fun.
There's google to harvest on this subject.
I went up for one town meeting, not a short drive from where I lived.
With a room full of supporters, they tabled the discussion until the
next meeting, effectively eliminating my voice.
