Wich trottel do GG riders use on the -06 200?

i live in europe and the papers on the bike say i should use the trottel
market 6 on the bike but when i got it (it`s a new bike, never ridden
before) the number 5 trottel was mounted, wich trottel is the most common on
the GG riders bikes??

The 250/300 use another trottel cut number so i`m not intressted i neither

Hi Roger,
Welcome to rmd!
You are correct. The manual states that they come with the #6
carburetor slide installed. However, one never knows exactly what the
carb will have installed. When they are assembling bikes, if they run
out of one part that is used on all models, they will often pick one
up out of another parts bin and just install that one.
The GasGas EC200 (and DE200) often come with the #5 throttle valve
(carburetor slide) from the factory, as well as the specified #6. (I
think it is too rich, but others get along fine with it. ) All
models (including the EC200) used to all come with the #7 carburetor
slide.

The difference in the different slides for the same carburetor is
the amount of "cut-out" on the bottom of the slide. The larger the
number on the slide, the bigger the cut-out, which lets in more air
and makes the fuel/air mixture more lean.

Good Riding to you!

Jim Cook
