I discovered a new (to me) feature in Google Earth (v 5.1.xxx), not
sure if it is the same in older versions.

If you go to the icon on the toolbar that looks like a clock face, it
will not only show when the latest images were taken, but also the
history of images used in the past. You can view all the older images,
kinda nice to see what has changed.

You wouldn't believe the stuff I'm doing with GE, it's way cool.

You can assign timestamps to placemarks or portions of paths and play
back a movie of an object moving- you can get kml/kmz files from
flightaware for any flight in the US, what I'm doing is like that, but
for thousands of flights with playback capabilities.
