Just as I was about to find something else to do Saturday
evenings (we listen to the SX on-line live when not televised
live) because Villipoto was turning this into a snoozer, he
fails to qualify.  Then Bubba gets hit after falling and gets
carried off on a back board.  No news about how he is from
what I can find.  Reed almost takes full advantage but
jezuz fails to smote Canard and he wins by a few bike
lengths.

Good stuff.

Anybody who beats Reed is OK with me.

*************

As for Canard's propensity for thanking his deity, it's a mental game
as much as a physical one. If he believes the Easter Bunny helps him,
then the Easter Bunny helps him; as a placebo, if nothing else.

I keep a Canard quote on my fridge:
"It's not about confidence, it's about self-worth."

And then there's Bob Burnquist up there:
"Dream it. Believe it. Work hard at it."

and then there's Ricky Carmichael:
"You don't win the chamionship on the good days. You win it on the bad
days by minimizing the damage."

...now they tell me.

 Dean H says:

While Chad has been a whiny dork at times, it's
hard to argue with the results on a pickup team
at the last minute.  Kid still has some talent.

If it was a mere propensity and not a compulsion
and obsession, I'd not mention it.  Plenty of racers
get the god card out at times to help their mental
game (I guess).  But Canard can't say 5 words without
first spewing that crap.  American Honda got you where
you are dimwit - not a fairy tale creature.

You and me both.

Go fast. Take chances.
