I've lost it.  Another short tracker came home with us
today.  Spent most of the day going in circles on the local
MX track, then picked up this:

Now we have a 450 and a 250 that don't have to be changed
from dirt bike to flat track bike every couple of weeks.  If only
the weather will hold out, there's a race Nov 19.  Slim chance
but we're jonesing to ride these things.

Ice tires are on order.

Go fast.  Take chances

An alternative view point would be that you've FOUND it. What could
possibly be wrong with having the right bikes to pursue all of the
various manifestations of your passion? Quadruple extra bonus points
for finding one that you share with your son. I'm here to tell you,
it's pretty frickin' cool.
Sweet looking bike, too. How excited is Mark? Hoping for the best of
luck with the weather on the 19th (Jeremy McGrath and Mike Metzger's
birthday, BTW), and a winter of nice hard thick ice.

I concur with Tim. Although the distinction between the two is at
times very faint, a man can never have too many toys or tools. As long
as said man has adequate storage, the means and ability to maintain
his toys and tools and, most importantly, doesn't catch too much crap
from the wifey-poo...

 IdaSpode concurs:

Well the garage is bursting at the seams.  And the barn is nearly so.
I need to find a home for a few bikes maybe.  I'm not one to part
with a bike, no matter how old and unridden, easily though.  I may
be worse than Tim H.

On maintenance, Mark is getting to be a pretty good wrench so I've
got help.

As for Amy the Wonder Wife, we met at the racetrack so she fully
expects this crap from me.  Not sure she 100% approves dragging
Mark into it but as long as his grades are good (they are), he does
his chores (he does, mostly), and he keeps playing soccer (2nd game
of the indoor season this afternoon), she's good to go on him too.

Go fast. Take chances.
