The NOHVCC is seeking a person with a strong commitment to OHV
recreation to join our staff. We are seeking an individual with:
A background in OHV recreation, either professionally or as a
participant, with a good understanding of the issues and
challenges facing the OHV community locally and nationally.
The ability to work on a professional level with government
managers and regulators, industry officials, the enthusiast public
and the general public leaders.
The ability to ride off-highway motorcycles or ATVs, preferably
both.
Self-motivation and a demonstrated ability to work in a remote
office environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good computer skills.
Good organizational skills.
Good facilitation skills.
Willingness to travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Assist Senior Project Coordinator and other staff with
coordination, planning, and implementation of OHV Recreation
Management and OHV Association Development Workshops.
Provide advice, assistance, materials, and other information to
NOHVCC State Representatives, Associates, recreationists, land
management agencies, and others as requested by e-mail, phone, or
other means. Most information can be shared verbally or
electronically but the physical distribution of printed materials
will be coordinated with staff in the Montana office.
Manage and assist in the development of projects such as
educational programs, management documents, manuals, and other
tools to promote responsible OHV recreation.
Attend, support and participate in various OHV-related events
across the nation as a representative of the NOHVCC.
