Hey All!

I think it was MXA that tested these and stated that even the $400
model is good (just a bit heavier). I'm just about to buy one
although I'm gonna be bummed if they come out with a newer/advanced
model a month after I buy. Does anyone know - are these the final
design for now (everything gets improved eventually) or are these
"beta" versions that they intend to vastly improve within the next
year or so?

I ask because I didn't even hear about these neck braces until about 2
months ago! Have they been being tested for a coupla years now or are
we purchasing what will be obsolete next year?

I saw David Bailey on this subject (Link from the group). Does anyone
know if there is a way to contact and pose this question to him? I'm
sure that he will tell us that it's presently worth the expense
although with his connections I'd have to think that he knows about
the company's direction with respect to R&D and their timeline...

Thanks for any input!!!

Scott

SNIP

Like you I'm confused but my own caution is
holding me back 12-18 months.

I'm trying also to decide if I ought to use it
when I ride my street bike. I'm daily rider when
there isn't ice on the roads.

Bailey's not personally affiliated with them.

From what I understand, there's about a 6 week backlog on them
right now.

I'm getting ready to order one and was wondering the same thing
you are...

Best bet is to register on http://www.cape-enduro.co.za and ask around
there. I (for some reason) can't get onto from work. Chris Leatt haunts
those forums.
