Hello,
Michelin sent me a set of bib mousse inserts. I have been a bit
cautious to use them in the past due to mounting horror stories....
Any tips/tricks to mounting?
TIA - Sean

It's too hard... save yourself the trouble and send them to me. I'll
dispose of them properly to save you any aggrevation. :) I've never
mounted the mousse inserts. I have mounted Flat Tire Defenders. I'm
sure it is similar. I use several large clamps to make it pretty easy.
I'm not sure I could do it without the clamps?

Cool. Chocolate?
Sized for the orange bike, I hope.
Is there any literature with them? I wonder what inflation pressure
they are intended to simulate.
Happy to help you wrestle with them some time.

A friend of mine swears by it. He says he won't go riding without. He
says it is hard to put on, sorry, no hints. Oh, just one: You have to
disassemble tire and clean/lube the mousse regularly because if not it
turns into dust sooner. They always disintegrate, but if you care, it
lasts longer.
They are just too much expense and hassle for someone just play
riding. For serious enduro and rally racing, I think it is almost a
must.
I've seen pictures on the 'net of people putting golf balls into
tires.
