More white shit

 Here in Bishop precipitation is expected for the next couple of days
with that white shit on the way.  Some rain would be cool and make the
desert real rideable and fun but white shit stops all that from
happening. I know lots of you guys recomend ice screws but for the
little amount of time needed it is just a costly expense.

It's an easy cost benefit analysis.  $50 of screws, couple
old tires and 4-5 old inner tubes (can have holes in them),
and 2 hours changing tires

no riding.

Just ride through the white shit.  Ice screws are only good for the
clear shit, they don't do much for the white shit, especially the kind
of white shit that you're going to get.

We are now OK. It has rained sporadicaly today but no white shit. The
one big consolation to snow is the view it creates on the local
mountains. Right after a storm the snow at higher elevations can blow
for miles. Awsome.
