Pretty danged cool.  Newton must be doing backflips in his grave.

Almost as cool as the "turn-down-whip" I saw on the Dew Tour this
morning.  The dood kept his bike vertical, but somehow twisted his
bike sideways well past 90 degrees.  I thought the guy was trying for
a *real* 360, but was only going to do a 180 and was going to splatter
for sure.  THEN, he suddenly pulled the bike back around straight and
landed.  Luckily, none of these FMX guys ever took a physics course,
or they'd all be dead by now.

Not that anyone will see this.  I'm gonna miss RMD.

OK, you like google.  I get that.  But you NEED an alternate means of
communication when google goes all pear-shaped.  I have THREE newsreader
clients (oh, wait, FOUR) just in case eternal-september has problems
(rarely).  It's not like it costs anything...

The guy actually had somebody who knows physics help him figure out
that the front flip would be easier if he whipped it off axis to
initiate the flip, somehow disturbing the moment of inertia or
something. The whip makes it look extra cool, but also makes it work.

front flip could be done if the jump had
a wicked lip on it. then the rider rode a
wheelie over the lip and the lip whacked
the rear while the whole bike/rider was
on a upward apex...
